                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 2312
                   CENTER STREET, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF
                   CENTER STREET NORTHEAST OF SHALLOWFORD ROAD,
                   FROM R-4 SPECIAL ZONE TO C-1 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 2312 Center Street,
                being on the southeast line of Center Street
                northeast of Shallowford Road.  Lot 2, Corrective
                Plat, Amin Plaza Subdivision, as shown by plat of
                record in plat book 47, page 202, ROHC; being part
                of the property described in deed book 3440, page
                202, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 149A-A-8.
               
         from R-4 Special Zone to C-1 Highway Commercial Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
